What you'll do:
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be at the forefront of our client-facing operations, bridging the gap between our clients and internal teams. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the business needs are effectively translated into actionable plans for our software development teams.
In this role, you will:
- Collaborate directly with stakeholders to dig deep into their needs and figure out the real requirements behind their requests.
- Translate complex business requirements into actionable user stories and product roadmaps for development teams. It means close cooperation with the delivery team(s), helping them to understand the needs, the requirements and working out the best ways of delivering high value outcomes.
- Partner with the Business Development team & Solution Architect in early discovery phases to shape offers for prospective clients. It means proposing approach, actively participating in initial meetings and providing initial insights on the project scope.
- Facilitate or co-facilitate the workshops with various customers and stakeholders to shape project strategies and outcomes.
- Create docs and visualizations and whatever is needed for making project goals easy to understand and keep everyone on track.
- Help educate the team about the role and value of a Business Analyst ;)
- Suggest ways to improve how we work internally to meet client needs (we’re always looking to get better).
Who you are (requirements):
You are a proactive, independent professional with excellent communication skills and a knack for solving complex business problems. You thrive in dynamic environments and can effortlessly switch between business and technical discussions.
Here's what we're looking for:
- At least 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar position in software consultancy (Project/Product Manager, Product Owner, User Experience Designer, Data Analyst).
- Excellent communication skills (you’re comfortable chatting with techies and non-techies alike; you apply the 7 C's of communication).
- Proven experience in gathering and managing client requirements and expectations in complex software projects.
- Ability to conduct discovery activities on your own or manage that process with the team.
- Experience with process modeling tools (BPMN, UML) and proficiency in using project management software such as JIRA and Confluence.
- Experience with business analysis techniques (BABOK), and strong organizational skills.
- A knack for analyzing problems and coming up with smart, simple solutions.
- The ability to switch between different perspectives and help others understand the bigger picture.
- Ability to work independently, self-organize, and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Fluent English (C1 level or higher).
What we'd like to see:
Bonus points if you have:
- a certification like IIBA (or something similar),
- some extra know-how in analytics (Google certifications, for example),
- worked on variety of IT projects in different industries,
- knowledge and experience in UX and CX.
