Role description

Melatech is looking for a skilled full-stack developer with an interest or experience in mobile app development to help us enhance and expand our application Seranote, with a primary focus on NextJS and React Native. We employ a range of modern technologies, including React Native and Jest to deliver exceptional user experiences across web and mobile platforms. While your main responsibility will be to develop and maintain our NextJS web app, you will also collaborate on our mobile app.

Your responsibilities will include:

• developing and maintaining the Seranote application using NextJS.

• implementing, maintaining and expanding testing workflows with tools like Jest and Storybook.

• optimizing app performance and ensuring seamless user experiences on both web and mobile.

• integrating with APIs and backend systems to deliver robust, data-driven features.

• collaborating with designers and stakeholders to implement intuitive and accessible user interfaces.

Nice-to-have skills:

• Experience with React Native and/or mobile development.

The minimum required English level skill is B2.

Practicalities

One of our key-team members will move to Krakow in Q4 2025. You and this team member will form the beginning of our new Krakow office which we expect to scale to ~5 devs and designers by Q2 2026. We therefore expect you on-site most work days when we've found a physical office for you, but there'll likely be a transition period where you will be working from home due to logistics. The rest of the team is based in Copenhagen and we'll ensure that you get to meet us one way or another. Work can start as early as in October and maybe before.

Office

We'll rent one when we've filled this position and our colleague has moved to Krakow in Q4, but it'll most likely be in or near Zabłocie or Grzegórzki. You cannot count on the exact location of the office written in this job post.

Payment

We are open to working with people on B2B contract-basis till we are up and running in Krakow, but we see this as a long-term partnership and will eventually transition to more traditional employment if not from day 1. Please let us know your preferences in your application via the application form.
