Who We Are

MAVI is on a mission to globalize the finance and accounting function by connecting the best talent in the world with high-performing US companies. We’re building the world’s largest network of top-tier finance talent, using an AI-powered platform for sourcing, vetting & matching, and disrupting a legacy $100Bn+ industry. We just closed a $3.5M seed round from leading venture capital firms like Harlem Capital and Rethink Capital. The founders (Molly & Aman) bring 15+ yrs combined leadership experience in technology and finance from Ramp, SoftBank, Dropbox, Lyft, and Morgan Stanley. We hold degrees from University of Pennsylvania Wharton School and Harvard Business School. 

We’re scaling fast and need a full-stack superstar who can help us automate, optimize, and build out the future of work. If you’re tired of bloated corporate red tape and want to own, ship, and scale real products — this is your spot. You’ll be wearing multiple hats, and work with some of the most cutting-edge developments in the AI space. 

What You’ll Do (aka your superpowers)

• Lead the end-to-end development of our AI-driven talent marketplace, automating sourcing, vetting, and matching

• Own both backend (Python, Go, PostgreSQL) and frontend (React, TypeScript) like a pro

• Integrate cutting-edge AI models that supercharge our hiring automation

• Be the first to architect and build our technical stack such that it can scale as we grow

• Design for high availability & reliability

• Build and integrate APIs that plug seamlessly into HR tech stacks, QuickBooks, and other financial systems as needed

• Work with founders & product to iterate like a rocket ship, not a sluggish enterprise dinosaur

What We’re Looking For

• 3-5+ years of full-stack development experience, with deep expertise in React, Node.js, Golang, Python, and/or Typescript (Python is a must)

• You’ve scaled platforms before - marketplaces, fintech, or automation-heavy products are a huge plus

• You’re product-driven - you build with user impact in mind, not just cool tech

• You can own projects end-to-end, from architecture to deployment — no hand-holding needed

• You have experience with AWS 

• You love automation and hate manual work - you’ve built internal tools, workflow engines, or AI-powered efficiencies before

• Strong background in database design & optimization (RDBMS, NoSQL)

• Bonus points if you have experience with AI/ML, vector databases, and LLMs
