About the job:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled AWS Cloud Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidates will have a strong foundation in networking, cloud computing, and system administration, with a passion for technology and a keen interest in staying at the forefront of industry trends.
Your responsibilities
- Implement, manage, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure on Azure, AWS, and/or GCP.
- Work closely with development teams to integrate cloud services into software and system architectures.
- Ensure the reliability and security of cloud environments through effective monitoring, maintenance, and incident response.
- Assist in the design and deployment of scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on the cloud.
- Perform system administration tasks for Linux and Windows environments, including configuration, troubleshooting, and automation.
- Continuously improve system performance through monitoring, tuning, and optimization.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and advancements in cloud computing, DevOps practices, and cybersecurity.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices and operational procedures.
Requirements description
- Fluent in English (Spanish is an advantage)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a relevant technical role.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts (DNS, TCP/IP protocols) and experience with network troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in cloud services (Azure, AWS, GCP), including deployment, management, and optimization. Certifications in any of these platforms are highly regarded.
- Solid experience with Linux and Windows system administration.
- Familiarity with monitoring systems and tools.
- Experience with automation and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- A fast learner with a keen interest in continuous personal and professional development.
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to document and diagram cloud architectures and workflows.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) is an advantage.
- Understanding of security best practices and tools in cloud environments.
- Project management skills and experience working in agile development environments
