As a Tech Lead, you will own the technical vision and execution of the product roadmap, with a clear path toward becoming the company’s Chief Technology Officer (CTO). You’ll build and scale the AI core, lead the engineering team, and ensure the delivery of a secure, reliable, and user-centric platform.

Responsibilities:

• Define and drive the technical roadmap in alignment with business strategy

• Develop and deploy AI/ML models, including NLP, recommendation systems, and generative AI

• Architect and oversee scalable, secure, and user-friendly platform development

• Build and manage a high-performing engineering team as the company scales

• Collaborate closely with the Founder/CEO to refine the product vision and ensure feasibility

• Stay ahead of emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge

• Implement best practices for testing, deployment, and monitoring

What we are looking for:

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on AI/ML

• Strong backend development skills (Python, Node.js) and experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)

• Proven experience designing scalable architectures, APIs, and microservices

• Prior experience in an early-stage startup or building products from scratch

• Ability to recruit, mentor and lead engineering teams

• Product-oriented mindset, balancing user experience and business impact

• Passion for AI, marketplaces and disruptive innovation

• Resilience and a hands-on approach in fast-paced environments
