We’re hiring a Data Scientist (GenAI/ML) to join a cross-functional team building a Global Banking Risk and Credit Intelligence Platform. You’ll work on advanced predictive models for credit risk, fraud detection, portfolio optimisation, and customer lifetime value modelling - with strong exposure to banking/risk stakeholders and enterprise-grade engineering.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, fine-tune and optimize LLMs and GenAI workflows using Python and selected frameworks (e.g., PyTorch/TensorFlow), supported by MLflow and modern orchestration tools (e.g., LangChain).

• Architect and implement RAG pipelines and advanced prompting strategies to improve operational efficiency and decision support.

• Build and deploy predictive models (time-series forecasting, classification) with MLOps practices and production-ready CI/CD workflows.

• Design and enhance end-to-end data pipelines: ingestion, feature engineering, and training datasets on large financial data (Databricks/Spark, SQL, Delta Lake).

• Establish and support AI governance: model monitoring, reporting, compliance, and explainability considerations for regulated environments.

• Collaborate with platform/ML engineers and domain experts to operationalize models at scale and maintain feedback loops.

• Mentor junior team members, run knowledge-sharing sessions, and translate analytics into clear business insights.

What we are looking for

• 3-4+ years of experience as a Data Scientist with hands-on GenAI and ML delivery.

• Strong proficiency in Python and ML ecosystem (e.g., PyTorch/TensorFlow, scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy).

• Practical experience with Azure and Databricks, plus MLOps tooling such as MLflow and CI/CD practices.

• Proven track record in fine-tuning LLMs, building RAG systems, and prompt engineering.

• Solid background in time-series forecasting and predictive modelling.

• Strong communication skills - able to work with technical teams and business stakeholders; mentoring mindset.

• Fluent English (project language).

• Availability to work in standard Polish business hours.
