Role description:

The ServiceNow Platform Engineer oversees the design, development, and administration of the ServiceNow environment across the organization. This position blends technical engineering with functional support for key modules such as ITSM, CMDB, and IRM/GRC. The engineer is responsible for creating scalable workflows, maintaining security and compliance, and enabling integrations in line with enterprise architecture guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead design and implementation of ServiceNow ITSM, CMDB, and IRM/GRC solutions

• Build, test, and maintain workflows using Flow Designer, Script Includes, and Business Rules

• Implement policy and compliance tracking, risk registers, and audit workflows in GRC/IRM

• Integrate ServiceNow with Entra ID (for SCIM provisioning and SSO), Azure DevOps, and other systems

• Develop and enforce development standards, ACLs, and platform governance

• Collaborate with analysts and business owners to ensure fit-for-purpose solutions

• Manage update sets, Dev/Test/Prod environments, and CI/CD pipelines

• Support platform upgrades, patching, and overall system health

Requirements:

• 4+ years of ServiceNow experience, including at least one GRC or IRM implementation

• CSA certification required; CIS–Risk and Compliance and/or CAD preferred

• Strong JavaScript, Glide API, and integration skills (REST, SOAP, MID servers)

• Familiarity with regulatory compliance concepts (e.g., SOX, ISO 27001, GDPR)

• Experience with platform governance and secure configuration practices.
