We are seeking a Senior Java Developer with strong expertise in backend development for Java-based applications and microservices. This role is ideal for a highly skilled, hands-on developer who takes ownership of the entire software lifecycle — from design and implementation to testing and deployment.

You will join one of the company’s flagship projects, fully aligned with the SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework for Lean Enterprises) methodology, contributing to the design and development of backend systems for core “home journey” banking applications.

Your Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend architecture for “home journey” applications.

• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs, logic, and expectations.

• Implement new features and services using Java 17/21 and Spring Framework 6/7 (Spring Boot 3.5–4.0 focus).

• Conduct regular code reviews, refactor, and improve existing codebases.

• Perform various types of testing — unit, performance, and security — and cooperate with QA, system, and engineering teams.

• Utilize modern development tools: JetBrains IntelliJ IDEA, Git, Bitbucket, Linters, SonarQube, Maven, Jenkins, and Artifactory.

• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline configuration and assist with release coordination from a technical perspective.

Tech Stack

• Languages: Java 17 / 21+

• Frameworks & Libraries: Spring (MVC, Boot, Security, Data, Profiles); Spring Boot 3.x required, Spring 4.0 nice to have

• APIs: RESTful Web Services, REST APIs

• Messaging: Apache Kafka

• Databases: Oracle, SQL

• Architecture: Multi-microservice environment (approx. 100 microservices)

Your Profile

• 5+ years of professional experience in Java backend development.

• Strong understanding of design patterns and engineering principles: Clean Code, SOLID, KISS, GRASP.

• Proven experience in microservices architecture and distributed systems.

• Actively using CI/CD tools to automate and optimize the development process.

• Interest or experience in mentoring and training colleagues, particularly in Pega CLM/KYC solutions.

• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English (B2 or higher).
