Technical skills:

Must-have

• SQL – very strong skills (complex queries, tuning, indexing, performance troubleshooting).

• Snowflake – objects, data models, ETL/ELT, semi-structured data, RBAC, pipeline creation.

• Python for data engineering use cases.

• AWS (S3, Glue/Lambda/CloudFormation) + basic knowledge of IAM.

• Experience in building modular, reliable ETL pipelines.

Nice-to-have

• Experience working with financial or investment data.

• Knowledge of data quality tools (e.g. iceDQ).

Scope of responsibilities:

Working in a team developing a platform that combines market data, asset allocation models, and analytical tools used by investors.

1. Improving the Asset Allocation process

• Introducing new framework features and performance optimizations.

• Creating automated tests for the quantitative engine.

• Extending and integrating the Data Model within the framework.

1. Improving access to market data

• Ingesting market indices into Snowflake.

• Implementing rule sets in iceDQ for index data.

• Analyzing and building a unified table with index data.

• Preparing pipelines for handover to the Core Data Team.

1. Delivering valuable insights

• Collecting and normalizing data on new issuances for traders.

• Building a PoC for a Relative Value framework based on index data.
