Role Description:
As Linux System Engineer, you will have a significant influence on how everyday IT Operations of PAYBACK Shared Utilities (SU) are performed.
As Linux System Engineer, you will have a significant influence on how everyday IT Operations of PAYBACK Shared Utilities (SU) are performed.
- System-Administration for all PAYBACK Linux-Server (RedHat)
- Operation and administration of Openshift
- Operation and maintenance of Puppet and RedHat Satellite infrastructure
- Administration of our VMWare installation
- Administration and maintenance of RedHat IDM
- Creating python scripts for automation
- Working on incidents and problems for all platforms in our team
- Contribute to the development of our future platform
Qualifications:
- You have successfully completed your studies in Computer Science and have several years of relevant professional experience
- Good knowledge of Linux (RedHat) – certifications are desirable (RHCSA, RHCE)
- Strong experience with Container solutions and administration of Openshift
- Know How with automation based on Puppet and RedHat Satellite
- Programming experience with Python
- Experience with infrastructure provisioning into public cloud
- Very good English language (C1-level)
