We are seeking a highly skilled Virtualization Administrator to manage and optimize the organization's virtualization infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for deploying, configuring, and maintaining virtual environments to ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of enterprise systems. This role involves working with various virtualization technologies and collaborating with IT teams to support business-critical applications.

- Install, configure, and maintain virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, or KVM.
- Manage and monitor virtual machines (VMs), ensuring optimal performance and resource allocation.
- Implement and maintain high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions for virtual environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to virtualization infrastructure, including VMs, hosts, and storage.
- Automate routine tasks using scripting tools such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Collaborate with storage and network teams to ensure seamless integration and performance of virtual systems.
- Perform system upgrades, patches, and migrations with minimal downtime.
- Document configurations, procedures, and best practices for managing virtual environments.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and implement appropriate access controls.

3+ years of experience in virtualization administration or a related role.
- Proficiency in managing virtualization platforms like VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, or KVM.
- Experience with virtual networking, storage integration, and resource management.
- Knowledge of backup and recovery solutions for virtual environments.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation.
- Strong understanding of HA and DR concepts within virtual environments.
- Experience with monitoring tools like vRealize Operations, SolarWinds, or Nagios.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with cloud-based virtualization solutions on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Certifications such as VMware Certified Professional (VCP), Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or Red Hat Certified Specialist in Virtualization.
- Experience with virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) solutions like VMware Horizon or Citrix.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for virtual environments.
- Exposure to software-defined networking (SDN) technologies.
