Snowflake Engineer with Informatica
About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our growing data team and play a key role in building and optimizing modern data platforms. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and data models, ensuring high data quality and performance across the organization.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with cloud data warehouses, transforming data into valuable insights, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data processing workflows.
Develop and optimize data models using Snowflake and dbt.
Transform raw data into clean, structured datasets for analytics and reporting purposes.
Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability across systems.
Collaborate with data analysts, BI teams, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements.
Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and performance issues.
Support integration of data from multiple sources and systems.
Contribute to best practices in data engineering, including documentation and data governance.
Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
2–3 years of hands-on experience with Snowflake and dbt.
Solid understanding of data modeling and data transformation concepts.
Experience building and maintaining data pipelines.
Basic knowledge or hands-on exposure to Informatica.
Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Good communication skills and proficiency in English.
Nice to Have
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes and data integration tools.
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
Experience working in Agile environments.
