Senior Test Automation Engineer (Mobile + German)

We are looking for an experienced Test Automation Engineer who will take ownership of designing, developing, and maintaining automation solutions for both mobile and backend applications. In this role, you will build automation frameworks from scratch, integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, and closely collaborate with developers and stakeholders across the full software development lifecycle to ensure high-quality releases.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated tests for mobile and backend systems using tools such as Selenium, Appium, Cypress, Playwright, Rest Assured.

• Build, maintain, and evolve test automation frameworks and architectures.

• Integrate automated tests into CI CD pipelines to support continuous testing and faster delivery.

• Analyze test results, report issues, and cooperate with developers to improve overall product quality.

• Work with cross functional teams throughout all stages of the SDLC, including planning, risk assessment, and delivery.

• Manage tasks independently, ensuring timely updates and clear communication.

Skills and Qualifications

• 3–7 years of experience in Test Automation.

• Proven experience building automation frameworks from scratch (test automation architecture).

• Strong hands on expertise with tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Appium, Rest Assured.

• Solid programming skills in Java, C sharp or Python.

• Strong understanding of CI CD practices, TDD, BDD and test management tooling.

• Ability to lead test initiatives beyond writing automated scripts.

• Proactivity, ownership of deliverables, and openness to new ways of working.

• English proficiency at B2+ level.

• Fluent German (minimum B2+), required for daily communication.
