Senior Test Automation Engineer

The Opportunity

Although experience with Java and Playwright is preferred, we remain open to candidates working with other programming languages.

Your Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of testing processes within the product or delivery team

• Lead and support testers in implementing and continuously improving testing standards and practices

• Work closely with stakeholders across the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including planning, risk management, and delivery

• Ensure timely completion of tasks and provide clear, regular progress updates

Required Qualifications

• Practical experience in Front-End test automation, ideally using Playwright

• 3–7 years of hands-on experience in test automation

• Proven ability to design, build, and maintain test automation frameworks from the ground up, including defining scalable architectures

• Solid understanding of modern engineering practices such as CI/CD, TDD, and BDD

• Strong programming skills (Java preferred, but C# or Python also acceptable)

• Experience integrating automated tests with test management tools

• Ability to mentor and support other automation engineers

• English proficiency at B2+ level, enabling effective collaboration in international teams

• Willingness to travel occasionally to client sites

Nice to Have

• ISTQB Foundation certification

• Experience in the financial services or insurance sector

• Familiarity with tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, and broader test management ecosystems
