Senior Swift Engineer (Engineering & Production Support)

Requirements:

• Technical Academic Background: Degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• Swift Experience: Proven experience implementing and maintaining Swift products in complex infrastructures for large organizations.
• Experience: 5+ years in IT within a financial institution, including at least 2 years working with Swift products.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and spoken English.
• Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of Linux, middleware products, and networks.
• Programming Skills: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, KornShell, and Perl.
• Orchestration/Automation: Familiarity with tools like Ansible Tower.
• Production Support: Experience with critical infrastructure production support.

Main Responsibilities:

• Analyze, implement, document, and test new data flows.
• Assist in upgrading Swift software and devices.
• Deliver project documentation in line with Euroclear's Project Life Cycle.
• Maintain technical flow documentation and production intervention solutions.
• Support Swift PKI-related tasks.
• Adjust monitoring systems to align with new developments.
• Assist with preparing and executing client testing and production launches.
• Contribute to the annual SWIFT CSP (Customer Security Programme) assessment.

Second-Line Production Support:

• Manage and resolve issues based on Euroclear production support SLA for critical infrastructure, with a 15-minute response time and resolution within 2 hours.
• Create and follow up on SWIFT support cases, working directly with Swift until resolution.
• Assist in executing site SWAP (6 times per year) and recovery exercises (RDR, twice per year) on Euroclear premises.
• Validate SWIFT infrastructure readiness after major releases, SWAP, and RDR, every Sunday before business operations begin.
