Senior Data Engineer

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing data pipelines and ETL processes. You will ensure data quality, security, and performance while implementing CI/CD pipelines and working extensively with Databricks.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate data workflows.
• Utilize Databricks to build scalable and optimized data solutions.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and quality across all engineering processes.
• Promote best practices for version control using Git.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver insights.

Required Skills & Experience

✅ Technical Expertise

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering.
• Strong proficiency with Databricks and its ecosystem.
• Expertise in git and version control management.
• Proven experience in CI/CD pipeline implementation.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts & technologies.

✅ Soft Skills & Leadership

• Ability to mentor and guide team members.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working in agile methodologies and digital transformation initiatives.
• Fluency in English.

✅ Nice to Have

• Experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate).
• Knowledge of Fabric (especially Power BI).
• Hands-on experience with no-code/low-code tools like Alteryx.
• Availability to travel onsite to Copenhagen, Denmark, as needed.
