Senior Data Architect

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Architect to design and build modern, cloud-native data platforms. You will work on an exciting project for a leading consumer healthcare navigation company, delivering an MVP that provides health insurance visualizations and insights to support better decision-making.

What you will do:

• Design scalable, cloud-native data architectures on AWS

• Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines (batch and streaming)

• Design data models for analytical and transactional workloads

• Develop dbt models and transformations

• Work with modern data stores (Snowflake, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL)

• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform

• Ensure data security, governance, and access control (RBAC, encryption)

• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to deliver a production-ready MVP

  
  

Requirements:

Technical

• Strong experience with AWS (Glue, DMS, S3, IAM, etc.)

• Solid knowledge of dbt and Snowflake

• Advanced SQL and Python

• Experience with streaming data (Kafka, CDC)

• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)

• Data modeling and modern data architecture experience

Experience

• 5+ years in data architecture or senior data engineering roles

• Hands-on experience designing end-to-end data platforms

Nice to have:

• Data governance and data catalog experience

• Cost optimization and monitoring

• Knowledge of data residency and compliance requirements
