About the Role
We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented SAP MM Consultant to join a professional SAP support team. The role focuses on ensuring smooth operations within the materials management area of SAP S/4HANA. You will support key business functions by resolving technical issues, improving processes, and implementing changes tailored to business needs.
This position is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, hands-on SAP MM experience, and a proactive mindset when it comes to delivering high-quality support and enhancements.
What You’ll Do

Deliver 2nd and 3rd line application support for SAP MM-related issues and custom solutions

Analyze incidents, identify root causes, and implement effective fixes or workarounds

Configure and maintain core MM functionalities including purchasing, inventory, and vendor-related processes

Assist with integration aspects between SAP MM and external or internal systems

Lead minor system adjustments, process improvements, and participate in enhancement initiatives

Coordinate with first-line support teams and cross-functional IT departments to ensure smooth service delivery

Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders and users, ensuring satisfaction with support services

Track and report on issue patterns and recurring problems to help drive preventive actions

Document technical solutions, process updates, and change requests for ongoing knowledge sharing
Your Profile

Degree in Business IT, Computer Science, Logistics, or a related field

Solid hands-on experience with SAP MM in an S/4HANA environment (preferably 2020 version or later)

Familiarity with procurement processes, inventory management, goods movements, and invoice handling within SAP

Comfortable configuring system components such as purchase orders, GR/IR processing, and vendor master data

Understanding of system integrations involving SAP MM and external tools or platforms

Strong problem-solving capabilities and ability to troubleshoot complex functional and technical issues

Familiarity with IT service tools (e.g., ticketing systems) and support documentation practices

Basic understanding of project lifecycles and small change delivery in SAP environments

Effective communication skills, both written and spoken, with an ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders

Ability to work autonomously while managing competing priorities

SAP certification in MM or related area is an advantage

Working knowledge of ITIL and service management concepts

Proficiency in English (spoken and written); German is a plus
