SAP Consultant – PP / QM / PM

Position Overview
We’re looking for a proactive and experienced SAP PP/QM/PM Consultant to provide advanced support and solutions in the area of manufacturing, quality, and maintenance processes. This role will involve resolving complex application issues, leading improvements, and delivering configuration tasks across SAP modules aligned with production and plant operations.
You will serve as a trusted partner to both technical teams and business stakeholders, helping ensure operational continuity and supporting digital transformation initiatives.
Main Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality 2nd and 3rd level application support for SAP PP, QM, and PM modules

Investigate and resolve system-related issues, identifying underlying problems and implementing sustainable fixes

Configure processes within production planning, quality checks, and maintenance scheduling to support evolving business requirements

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and first-level support to streamline issue resolution

Lead small enhancement projects or system modifications to optimize functionality and performance

Analyze support trends to detect recurring incidents and suggest continuous improvements

Produce clear, structured documentation for solutions, changes, and known issues to enhance knowledge sharing

Provide occasional user guidance or training to encourage system adoption and efficient usage
Your Skills & Qualifications

Degree in IT, Engineering, Business, or a similar technical field

Practical experience in SAP Production Planning (PP), Quality Management (QM), and Plant Maintenance (PM) modules

Ability to design and configure processes related to BOMs, production orders, inspections, and preventive maintenance

Understanding of integration points between PP/QM/PM and other SAP modules such as MM or SD

Familiarity with manufacturing operations, plant efficiency optimization, and quality control strategies

Strong diagnostic skills to support complex incidents and deliver effective solutions

Previous experience working with issue tracking and ticketing systems

Ability to manage small projects or change requests, from planning through to implementation

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with business users and IT teams

Excellent verbal and written communication in English; German language skills are a plus

Knowledge of ITIL or similar service management frameworks

SAP certifications in relevant areas would be advantageous

Self-driven, organized, and comfortable managing multiple tasks in parallel
Willingness to continuously update knowledge in line with new SAP trends and technologies
