SAP ABAP Developer

Role Overview

As a core technical expert within our SAP ecosystem, you will be responsible for architecting and delivering high-quality programming solutions within the SAP S/4HANA landscape. Your primary objective is to build robust, scalable, and future-proof technical implementations that streamline business operations across various functional modules. We are looking for an engineer who masters the "clean code" approach and excels in modern SAP development paradigms.

Qualifications:

• Professional Standing: 6–8 years of intensive experience in SAP ABAP development and SAP Fiori environments.

• Modern Stack Mastery: Deep expertise in the ABAP RESTful Programming Model (RAP), CDS Views, and OData services.

• Core Skills: Proficiency in Object-Oriented ABAP (OO-ABAP), Workflows, and advanced Adobe Forms design.

• HANA Engineering: Practical experience in AMDP, SQLScript, and fine-tuning code for the HANA In-Memory database.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advanced Development: Design, implement, and maintain the full WRICEF spectrum (Workflows, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms) with a focus on S/4HANA optimization.

• Next-Gen UI/UX: Build and deploy sophisticated SAP Fiori applications (both transactional and analytical) utilizing ABAP RAP and UI5 standards.

• Data Modeling: Architect complex CDS Views and leverage AMDP to ensure maximum performance at the database layer.

• Technical Consultancy: Partner with functional consultants to translate complex business specifications into high-level technical blueprints.

• Integration & Connectivity: Facilitate seamless communication between SAP CI (Cloud Integration), third-party platforms, and Fiori frontends.

• Quality & Reliability: Conduct rigorous debugging, performance bottleneck analysis, and incident resolution (L3 support).

• Governance: Produce comprehensive technical documentation and execute robust unit testing strategies.

• Synergy: Work within a cross-functional environment, collaborating with Basis, Security, and Functional streams to ensure system integrity.
