Are you passionate about quantum computing and ready to lead the way in quantum research and development? We’re seeking a Quantum Engineer with hands-on experience in quantum hardware and algorithms, along with solid classical programming skills, to join our advanced team. This is an exciting opportunity to apply quantum computing techniques to solve optimization problems, contribute to leading-edge projects, and collaborate on research within the quantum computing field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Quantum Hardware Systems: Work with quantum systems such as superconducting qubits and trapped ions. Leverage platforms like IBM Q, Rigetti, and Google Quantum for experimental and simulation purposes.
  • Quantum Algorithms: Develop and implement quantum algorithms, including Shor's, Grover's, and variational quantum algorithms, with a focus on quantum error correction, entanglement, and superposition.
  • Optimization & Computational Efficiency: Utilize strong programming skills in languages like Python, C++, and Julia to optimize quantum computing performance and computational processes.
  • Machine Learning Integration: Apply knowledge of machine learning and deep learning algorithms (such as random forests, deep neural networks, and convolutional neural networks) when appropriate for quantum-based applications.
  • Research & Development: Engage in cutting-edge research, contributing to publications in high-impact international journals on topics like quantum simulation, cryptography, and linear algebra applications for quantum computing.

Primary Qualifications

  • Profound knowledge in linear algebra and advanced quantum computing concepts, such as quantum entanglement, gate-based systems, and quantum optimization with D-Wave’s Leap/Ocean.
  • Experience with IBM Qiskit and D-Wave’s quantum annealing tools, and hands-on proficiency with QUBOs for optimization problem-solving.
  • Strong grasp of quantum cryptography and quantum natural language processing (NLP).
  • Excellent programming skills, particularly in Python, are essential.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with machine learning & deep learning applications using TensorFlow, Keras, and Scikit-learn in Python.
  • Experience in publishing research articles in leading international journals.
