QA Engineer

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance.

• Proven experience with REST API testing and SQL data validation (PostgreSQL preferred).

• Strong grasp of QA methodologies, test design techniques, and manual testing.

• Proficiency with JIRA, XRAY, and Agile/Scrum workflows.

• Hands-on exposure to test automation alongside manual processes.

• Ability to work effectively within distributed teams and operate independently.

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• English proficiency, both written and spoken.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to UI automation (Playwright/Robot Framework) and guide junior team members in QA best practices.

• Use tools like Postman or Bruno for REST API testing and validate backend logic with SQL.

• Work with DevOps, Product Owners, and Developers to maintain quality throughout the SDLC.

• Perform exploratory, functional, integration, and regression testing on web and backend systems.

• Design and maintain detailed manual test cases and scenarios.

• Identify, track, and report bugs using JIRA.

• Review requirements early to identify gaps and provide quality assessments for releases.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Azure (preferred), AWS, or GCP.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Python scripting.

• Understanding of microservices, Kafka, event-driven systems, and high-availability architectures.

• Strong background in Robot Framework or Playwright for UI testing.
