Project Manager
For our Client – a dynamically growing, international IT company delivering advanced technological solutions – we are looking for an experienced and independent Mid Project Manager. Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Project Management: Manage assigned technical projects to ensure strict adherence to budget, schedule, and scope. Coordinate internal and external resources effectively.
Planning & Execution: Develop, maintain, and revise detailed project proposals, timelines, funding, and staffing. Set and track milestones, managing unforeseen delays proactively.
Stakeholder & Client Relations: Regularly communicate with customers and clients to arrange meetings, confirm schedules, and resolve project bottlenecks. Provide transparent status updates to affected staff and stakeholders.
Risk & Crisis Management: Analyze risks, forecast potential schedule delays, develop alternate plans, and provide regular updates to Senior Management regarding project status and potential problems.
Documentation & Requirements: Facilitate the gathering and validation of project requirements. Create and maintain comprehensive project management documentation and performance databases to track overall progress.
Requirements (What you'll bring)
Experience: Minimum 3 years of project management experience in the IT field, including software development work and direct, hands-on interactions with customers.
Agile Expertise: Excellent knowledge of Agile techniques and artifacts (e.g., Definition of Ready/Done, user stories, epics, features, backlog management, splitting stories).
Team Leadership: Experience working with cross-functional agile teams and a proven ability to create proactive, self-organizing environments.
Tools & Standards: Proficient use of project management software (specifically JIRA) and solid knowledge of software development and deployment industry standards.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills to seamlessly coordinate with team members, vendors, and management. A strong continuous improvement attitude.
Nice to have
Professional Project Management Certification from an accredited institution (e.g., PMP).
Professional Scrum Master Certification from an accredited institution (PSM).
Strong written and spoken communication skills in the Italian language.
An IT Technical background (previous experience as an Architect, Engineer, QA, etc.) is considered a major plus.
