Job description

We are looking for an expert/consultant to support the migration of financial and accounting systems to MS Dynamics 365 F&O.

This role involves analysis, configuration, test support, and long-term system maintenance. The selected candidate will collaborate with an experienced IT team (developers and analysts) and finance experts to optimize and implement modern system solutions. We are working closely with a Dynamics implementation partner to ensure the highest project quality. This is a long-term collaboration, extending beyond the migration phase to include ongoing system support and development.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Participating in the migration, implementation, maintenance, and further development of the company’s core financial and accounting system (General Ledger and Fixed Assets modules) to MS Dynamics 365 F&O.
  • Gaining system knowledge from the current provider through source code analysis, documentation review, and training/workshops.
  • Conducting workshops with business users to gather requirements and expectations.
  • Creating and maintaining system documentation related to MS Dynamics 365 F&O.
  • Preparing test plans and test scenarios for Dynamics 365 F&O.
  • Coordinating the implementation and testing of system changes across various development environments.
  • Collaborating with analysts from other teams to plan dependencies and inter-system integrations.
  • Configuring and customizing Dynamics 365 F&O modules based on business needs.
  • Working closely with the Dynamics 365 F&O implementation partner.
  • Providing technical support for Dynamics 365 F&O.
  • Defining financial and management reporting requirements, including reports for controlling.


Requirements:

  • Higher education in IT or a related technical field.
  • At least 5 years of experience as an ERP systems analyst/consultant, especially in Dynamics 365 F&O.
  • Strong experience in gathering, specifying, and documenting functional and non-functional requirements and identifying system constraints.
  • Proficiency in SQL, enabling complex data analysis.
  • Experience working with financial and accounting systems, particularly MS Dynamics 365 F&O, including its architecture and functionalities related to accounting, receivables, fixed assets depreciation, and payment management in large organizations.
  • Ability to define algorithms using UML.
  • Knowledge of CASE tools (e.g., Enterprise Architect).
  • Independence and strong time management skills.
  • Familiarity with data migration tools and methodologies within Dynamics 365 F&O, particularly for General Ledger and Fixed Assets.
  • Hands-on experience in configuring and customizing Dynamics 365 F&O modules.


Nice to Have:

  • Advanced knowledge of PL/SQL stored procedures in Oracle databases.
  • Experience in business process modeling using BPMN notation.
