Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior iOS Developer to join an international team delivering innovative mobile solutions for the healthcare sector. The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality iOS applications that meet the highest standards of performance, security, and usability — directly supporting digital transformation in healthcare.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including software architects, business analysts, and clinical technology experts, to build secure and scalable applications used across hospitals and medical organizations worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI.
Collaborate with international teams to define system architecture, ensure quality, and meet delivery timelines.
Apply solid knowledge of software architecture layers, including infrastructure, security, and application design.
Implement and maintain programming patterns such as MVC or MVVM and leverage modern development frameworks (e.g. Declarative UI, Angular, Xamarin, React).
Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to ensure adherence to healthcare software standards.
Work with project managers and product owners to deliver multiple projects within tight deadlines.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Informatics, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or related IT field.
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in custom mobile application development.
Deep understanding of iOS development (Swift, SwiftUI).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
Proven experience in international development teams and agile environments.
Excellent command of English (C1+); additional languages are an asset.
Willingness to travel when required.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in the healthcare industry or on medical technology projects.
Understanding of health interoperability standards (e.g. HL7/FHIR, SNOMED, OMOP, openEHR).
Familiarity with clinical systems integration such as EMR, CIS, CDR, LIMS, and communication servers.
Awareness of emerging technologies and trends in healthcare IT and the ability to drive their adoption.
Strong consulting background and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
