Job Description
We are looking for an IT Support Specialist to join our team and provide exceptional technical support in both onsite and remote settings. The role requires a hands-on, proactive approach to handling hardware, software, and network issues, as well as excellent communication skills in German and English. This position involves regular onsite support at the head office and nearby workshops, along with some remote work flexibility.
Key Responsibilities
Onsite and Remote Support:
Provide technical support onsite at the head office (60%) and remotely (40%) to users and systems.
Occasionally offer support at workshops near Brunn.
Hardware Management:
Install and manage hardware, including notebooks, monitors, docking stations, and peripherals.
Perform cabling and hardware replacements as required.
Manage hardware components such as server racks and switches.
Software Management:
Conduct remote software installations and updates.
Provide user support for M365 tools (Outlook, Teams, Company Portal, etc.).
Handle software ticketing systems and ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Network Management:
Support LAN, WLAN, and VPN configurations and troubleshooting.
Assist in managing network printers (HP).
User Administration:
Perform Active Directory user and group management.
Manage Citrix environments and support mobile devices (Android & iOS).
Optional Skills
Experience with the following will be an advantage:
Managing conference room hardware, including video servers (Clickshare), cameras, and peripherals.
Working with AS400, SAP, and IGEL OS systems.
Required Skills
Proficiency in German and English (both written and spoken).
Experience in hardware installation, replacement, and maintenance.
Familiarity with MS Windows 10/11, M365 tools, and basic network concepts (LAN, WLAN, VPN).
Experience with Active Directory user management and Citrix environments.
Strong problem-solving and ticket management skills using a ticketing system.
Job Details
Hours: 40 hours/week (Monday to Friday, 8:00–16:30).
Location: Primarily onsite in Brunn am Gebirge (3 days/week) and remote work (2 days/week).
Initial 1-week training in Koblenz.
