Your work will ensure that our automotive products are protected by robust IPsec protocols, leveraging tools such as strongSwan, AUTOSAR standards, and end-to-end (E2E) security measures. You will collaborate with various teams to integrate security solutions that meet the highest industry standards for safety and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Implementation:

  • Develop and implement IP security architectures tailored for automotive systems, focusing on secure IPsec communication and data protection.
  • Integrate and configure strongSwan to secure IPsec communication within the AUTOSAR framework.
  • Apply AUTOSAR R19 standards to ensure compliance and smooth integration with existing automotive software platforms.
  • Design and implement data protection measures to safeguard integrity, confidentiality, and availability across vehicle networks.
  • Configure Security Associations (SAs) and Internet Key Exchange (IKE) parameters for IPsec communication.

Validation and Testing:

  • Validate and test IPsec security solutions, ensuring they meet rigorous automotive standards.
  • Conduct E2E security testing, including threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing.
  • Utilize tools such as Wireshark, Metasploit, and Nessus to analyze and validate the integrity of secure communication channels.

Documentation and Compliance:

  • Produce comprehensive technical documentation, including security design specifications, validation plans, and test reports.
  • Ensure all security implementations adhere to relevant industry standards and regulations, such as ISO/SAE 21434, UNECE WP.29, and AUTOSAR.

Collaboration and Support:

  • Collaborate closely with software developers, system architects, and project managers to integrate security solutions into automotive systems.
  • Provide expert guidance on security-related challenges throughout the development lifecycle.

Qualifications:

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Specialization in cybersecurity, network security, or automotive security is preferred.

Experience:

  • Proven experience in IPsec and automotive security implementations.
  • Strong knowledge of strongSwan, AUTOSAR, and relevant automotive communication protocols.
  • Experience with security testing tools and methodologies, including vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to automotive security.

Skills:

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.

Additional Information: This role may require occasional travel to support on-site testing and integration activities. You will be a key part of ensuring our automotive systems remain secure and meet industry-leading standards.

  • Application Process: If you are passionate about automotive security and have experience with IPsec protocols, we encourage you to apply. Please submit your resume and cover letter, detailing your relevant experience and qualifications.
