Head of Databases and Middleware

Role Overview:

We are looking for a skilled leader to shape and drive the technical roadmap for our database and middleware solutions. In this role, you will collaborate closely with architects to align on the right technology choices and foster a culture of excellence in delivery within the team. Developing a transparent communication environment and keeping team morale high will be essential parts of your responsibilities. You’ll also manage operational budgets, including travel, training, and team events, and ensure alignment with our company’s values and development culture.

What We’re Looking For:

• A strong interest in database and middleware technologies.
• A history of leading successful engineering projects.
• Significant experience in technical domains or similar roles.
• Practical technical knowledge of key database and middleware platforms.
• Proven success in managing software or infrastructure teams, ideally using the Scrum framework.
• Outstanding communication skills and fluency in English.
• A proactive, ownership-driven mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in relevant database and middleware areas.
• Hands-on experience with complex projects, especially those involving DB and MW as a service.
