DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage GCP infrastructure (Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, VPC).

• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Google Cloud Deployment Manager, or related tools.

• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines with Cloud Build, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.

• Manage containerized workloads and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes (GKE).

• Automate infrastructure and tooling with Python, Bash, or Go scripting.

• Ensure compliance with GCP security best practices (IAM, service accounts, secrets management).

• Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and security teams to deliver reliable cloud solutions.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform services (Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, VPC).

• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Google Cloud Deployment Manager, or similar tools.

• Practical experience with CI/CD tools (Cloud Build, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).

• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, GKE).

• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go.

• Solid understanding of GCP security best practices including IAM, service accounts, and secrets management.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to monitoring and logging tools (Stackdriver, Prometheus, Grafana).

• Experience in hybrid or multi-cloud environments.

• Certification in Google Cloud (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect, Professional DevOps Engineer).
