Devops Engineer ( GCP/Terraform/BigQuery)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer specializing in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join our team. You will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing our CI/CD pipelines, managing GCP infrastructure using Terraform, and ensuring our systems are secure, efficient, and compliant. Responsibilities

CI/CD Pipeline Management

• Create, manage, and optimize Azure DevOps pipelines for automated deployment of GCP resources.
• Integrate automated testing, code quality checks, and security scans into the CI/CD pipeline.

Terraform Development and Maintenance

• Write and maintain Terraform code for managing GCP infrastructure.
• Implement best practices for Terraform usage, including state management, modules, and version control.

Infrastructure Management

• Provision, configure, and manage GCP resources such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, and Cloud Storage using Terraform.
• Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure issues to ensure high availability and performance.

Security Implementation

• Incorporate security best practices into CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure code.
• Implement IAM policies, network security configurations, and data protection strategies.

Collaboration and Communication

• Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline integration and deployment processes.
• Document processes, configurations, and best practices for internal knowledge sharing.

Continuous Improvement

• Continuously evaluate and enhance CI/CD pipeline efficiency and effectiveness.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest GCP, Terraform, and Azure DevOps features and advancements.

Troubleshooting and Support

• Provide support for deployment issues and infrastructure incidents.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement solutions for recurring problems.

Compliance and Governance

• Ensure infrastructure and processes align with regulations and standards.
• Implement governance policies for resource management and cost optimization.

Requirements

Must-Have Skills

• Proven experience managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Strong proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure management.
• Hands-on experience with GCP services, including Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, and Cloud Storage.
• Solid understanding of security best practices, including IAM policies, network security, and data protection.
• Knowledge of DevOps methodologies and tools for automation and monitoring.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot deployment and infrastructure issues.
