Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Infrastructure and DevOps Engineer to join our team and take ownership of engineering scalable, resilient, and secure solutions in cloud environments, with a focus on Microsoft Azure. This is a highly technical role requiring deep expertise in cloud infrastructure, automation, DevOps, and microservices architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud-native infrastructure using Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS offerings; experience with O365, Azure AD, GCP is a plus

  • Develop automation scripts and infrastructure tooling using PowerShell and Python; knowledge of Linux shell scripting is advantageous

  • Work with Kubernetes (AKS) and Docker, building and managing Helm charts for microservices-based deployments

  • Develop and maintain robust data engineering workflows using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Azure Databricks (ADB)

  • Integrate and work with RESTful APIs to support loosely coupled, scalable system architectures

  • Design and manage network components such as load balancers, firewalls, DNS, and routing to ensure system reliability and high availability

  • Produce well-structured technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, implementation plans, and support materials tailored to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Understand production environments and proactively support deployed applications, providing incident root cause analysis and performance tuning

  • Manage code and configuration with version control systems like Git, TFS, or SVN, and ensure proper branching, tagging, and release workflows

  • Lead DevOps practices using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and ARM Templates, and CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps

  • Stay up-to-date with Azure’s Generative AI offerings and understand their application in modern enterprise cloud architectures

Requirements:

  • 5–12 years of professional experience in cloud engineering, especially within Azure, and with exposure to O365 or GCP

  • Strong scripting skills: PowerShell and/or Python (mandatory); Bash or Linux scripting (preferred)

  • Proven experience with microservices architectures, including containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes (AKS)

  • Solid knowledge in Azure Data Engineering tools (ADF, ADB)

  • Hands-on expertise with RESTful API development and integration

  • Excellent understanding of network architecture and security best practices

  • Capable of creating technical documentation for cross-functional use

  • Awareness of production support environments and user-facing incident resolution

  • Experience in source control systems (Git, TFS, SVN)

  • Proven skills in DevOps tooling and Infrastructure-as-Code: Terraform, Ansible, ARM Templates, and Azure DevOps Pipelines

  • Familiarity with Azure GenAI products is a strong advantage

Soft Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving mindset and operational awareness

  • Clear and effective communication across technical and non-technical teams

  • Ability to work independently while mentoring junior team members when needed

  • Comfortable working in agile, fast-paced environments
