Data Test Lead

We are looking for an experienced Test Lead to join a dynamic international project focused on data transformation and testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a virtual, multi-cultural testing team, including testers from multiple locations.

• Drive the implementation and refinement of the test strategy, ensuring data completeness, accuracy, and timeliness across ingestion, transformation, and consumption layers.

• Design and execute comprehensive test plans, aligning with business requirements and acceptance criteria.

• Collaborate closely with data engineers, developers, DevOps, data analysts, and business stakeholders to define testing requirements.

• Manage CI/CD pipelines, integrating automated test execution using GitHub workflows.

• Coach and mentor the testing team on tools, methodologies, and best practices relevant to Snowflake and data domains.

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong expertise in Snowflake data warehousing and ELT processes, including Data Vault modeling (Hub, Links, Satellites).

• Hands-on experience with dbt automation, Python scripting, and SQL for data testing and transformations.

• Experience with modern test management and automation frameworks, aligned with Agile and DevOps practices.

• Ability to adapt and optimize existing test strategies to meet evolving project requirements.
