Job Description

Role Overview

We are looking for a Data Migration Architect to support a large-scale insurance platform transformation project. The role focuses on designing and executing data migration processes, ensuring the accurate transfer of complex insurance data structures from legacy systems to a new platform.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data migration pipelines using Python and Apache Airflow

• Extract, transform and load insurance data from legacy systems into the new platform

• Work with complex insurance data models including policy, quote, endorsement, coverage and policy transactions

• Ensure data quality, consistency and validation throughout the migration process

• Collaborate with architects, business analysts and engineering teams to define migration logic

• Troubleshoot data issues and optimize migration workflows

• Support testing phases and migration execution during deployment cycles

Requirements

• Strong experience with Python

• Hands-on experience with Apache Airflow

• Experience in data migration or data engineering projects

• Strong understanding of insurance domain data models (policy, quote, endorsement, coverage etc.)

• Experience working with ETL processes and large datasets

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with EIS insurance platform

• Experience in large insurance system transformations
