Business/Software Analyst

We are looking for an experienced Business/Software Analyst to join the global team of our business partner. In this role, you will collaborate with key stakeholders, including Product Owners and Product Managers, to define and document mobile application requirements. You will play a vital role in translating business needs into functional solutions within an Agile development environment.

Location: Remote, with occasional on-site workshops a few times a year.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and document detailed business requirements using various elicitation techniques.
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk, cost, and value analyses to align solutions with business objectives.
• Translate business needs into user stories with clear acceptance criteria and maintain the product backlog.
• Work closely with teams across Product Development, Marketing, Legal, and IT Security to ensure thorough requirements analysis.
• Ensure requirements traceability from concept to delivery, maintaining clear and accurate documentation.
• Provide business analysis and process mapping for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to manage expectations and ensure alignment.

Qualifications

Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in IT projects, focusing on business analysis and solution design.
• Proven ability to document business requirements and translate them into backlog items.
• Experience with customer-facing mobile and web-based platforms.
• Strong stakeholder management skills across different levels and departments.
• Exposure to complex organizational structures, preferably across multiple regions.

Technical Skills:

• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and product development lifecycles.
• Proficiency in creating user stories, workflows, and process maps.
• Knowledge of UML or BPMN for process modeling and system design.
• Familiarity with system integration, architecture patterns, and APIs (XML, JSON).

Education & Additional Skills:

• University degree in a relevant field.
• Business analysis certification is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving mindset with a solution-oriented approach.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
• Awareness of data privacy regulations and IT security best practices.
