Azure Data Factory Engineer

We are looking for an Azure Data Factory Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data integration solutions in the Microsoft Azure cloud. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing data pipelines, ensuring reliable data flow between systems, and supporting analytics and reporting needs across the organization.

You will work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver efficient, secure, and high-quality data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF).

• Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes for data integration and transformation.

• Integrate data from multiple sources (databases, APIs, cloud services).

• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure reliability and performance.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• Work with Azure data services (e.g., Azure SQL, Data Lake, Synapse).

• Implement data quality, validation, and governance practices.

• Support deployment and automation processes in CI/CD environments.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF).

• Experience in building ETL/ELT data pipelines.

• Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases.

• Experience with Azure ecosystem, such as:

  • Azure SQL

  • Azure Data Lake

  • Azure Synapse (nice to have)

• Experience integrating data via REST APIs.

• Understanding of data modeling and data transformation concepts.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
