Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Application Specialist with a strong background in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate with development and implementation projects, translate business needs into effective solutions, and ensure the smooth operation of D365 functionalities.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate on development and implementation projects, ensuring solutions are aligned with business needs.
  • Analyze business requirements and provide long-lasting, cost-effective solutions in D365.
  • Plan and execute system and acceptance testing.
  • Create comprehensive documentation, including requirements, functional design, change requests, training materials, and test scripts.
  • Utilize common D365 functionality and implementation tools.
  • Configure security settings, processes, and system options in D365.
  • Perform data migration routines: extract, transform, and load data using the Data Management module.
  • Manage configuration tasks, such as copying configurations across legal entities and environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and Central IT to ensure smooth integration and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring effective use of Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.
  • Set up and configure financial management and supply chain management modules.
  • Manage and apply common processes for efficiency and compliance.


Skills and Competencies:


  • Expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 applications, particularly in finance and procurement.
  • Functional expertise in areas such as General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Cash & Bank, Budgeting, Credit & Collections, Inventory Management, Sales & Marketing, Procurement & Sourcing, and Product Information Management.
  • Supply Chain Management expertise, including Supply Chain Planning, Procurement and Sourcing, Inventory Management, Warehouse Management, and Asset Management.
  • Full lifecycle implementation experience with D365.
  • Experience with ISVs such as Exflow, SK Global, and knowledge of localization practices.
  • Proficiency in electronic reporting, data migration, and configuration management.
  • Familiarity with ITIL and CMMI Level 3 processes and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with debugging expertise.
  • Competence in configuration management tools, version control (branching and merging), and understanding of IDEs and debuggers.
