📽️ Why This Role Exists

Hero is the backbone of every shoot, script, storyboard, call sheet, and client interaction - and we’re now evolving it into a scalable SaaS platform. Our team builds the systems that power how 100+ creatives, producers, editors, and crew members work globally, centralizing every detail in one cohesive workspace.

From real-time feedback and instructions to creative outputs and production logistics, we’re turning a traditionally fragmented video production process into a streamlined, intuitive product.

As we shift Hero from an internal tool to a full-fledged SaaS solution, you’ll help shape the user experience for a broader market of production teams and video creators around the world.

Together we’ll radically improve production speed and accuracy so creatives can spend more time creating. 

🛠️ What You’ll Work On

• 🚛 Build and ship production ready projects from end-to-end with a team that prioritizes speed of learning using NestJS, React, MUI, OpenAI and more.

• 🙏 Collaborate with product experience managers and other engineers on a small, autonomous squad focused on improving capacity and saving time through AI tools. 

• 📐 Architect solutions that centralize knowledge, empower faster editing, and provide better AI outputs for the creative team. 

• 🧱 Own services like prompting, knowledge collection, knowledge centralization, fact management, AI training, and more.

• ⚡ Rapidly prototype to go from idea to POC in collaboration with the PXM team.

• 🇵🇱 You’ll work in the Polish time zone (CET) with a team that is primarily made up of Polish engineers.

☑️ Who We’re Looking For

• 6+ years of direct, full-stack engineering experience

• Strong experience in Typescript and Node.js ecosystems

• Direct experience integrating AI tooling into outcome focused features

• Strong customer empathy and a willingness to learn rather than prove

• Can execute beautiful front end projects and complex API integrations

• Proven background of engineering collaboration, and shipping cross-functionally facing products

• Remote‑first but the best if you reside in Poland (CET time zone)

• 📍 Fluent in English and good communicative Polish (B2+) preferred

• Library of agents and personal AI projects you’ve built

• Deep, direct experience with our tech stack

• SaaS and B2B or marketplace experience

• Experience working with Python

⚙️ Our Stack

• Backend: Node.js, NestJS, MongoDB, AWS. (Python experience is a plus)

• Frontend: React 19, MUI, Tanstack Query, React Hook Form, TipTap

• AI: OpenAI, Fal, ElevenLabs, Langchain

💰 Compensation and Interview Expectations

• 🇵🇱 Tier 1 Poland (IC3–IC5) : $6,500–$10,000 / month
