As a Development Infrastructure Engineer, you will be part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and availability of Kuehne + Nagel’s IT infrastructure. Your focus will be on delivering robust services for continuous integration and delivery, supporting cross-functional teams of developers, testers, and business analysts. By maintaining and evolving infrastructure solutions, you will play a key role in supporting our global logistics operations and driving digital transformation through modern technologies and automation.
How you create impact
Handle technical requests and provide expert support for AWS-based Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
Monitor and maintain build pipeline infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues to minimize downtime and ensure seamless operations
Take ownership of building and testing pipelines for both development and production deployments
Collaborate closely with IT colleagues, infrastructure teams, and external vendors to ensure smooth integration and operation of infrastructure components
Contribute to automation initiatives and support the deployment of modern technologies aligned with our digital transformation strategy
What we would like you to bring
Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and operations, including server administration and network management
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and environments, especially Jenkins and AWS-based solutions
Familiarity with AWS Aurora/Postgres and Kubernetes
Proficiency in automation and operations management tools
Excellent troubleshooting and technical support capabilities
Commitment to continuous learning and staying up to date with emerging trends in IT and logistics
Effective communication skills and the ability to work in a cross-functional, collaborative environment.
