Solution Architect (SaaS)

Currently, for our client in the aviation industry, we are looking for a Solution Architect (SaaS). The person in this role will be a key member of the team responsible for developing and maintaining cloud infrastructure, ensuring automation, performance, availability, and security of systems in a demanding aviation environment. 🚀

The ideal candidate combines architectural, programming, and DevOps skills. They must have in-depth knowledge of SaaS architecture in AWS, Kubernetes management, and infrastructure automation.

The offer requires living in Sweden or willingness to relocate.

Project:

The goal of the project is to integrate external airline applications with the client's SaaS platform, which focuses on software that helps manage onboard crew.

Key responsibilities:

• Working on automated Git-based deployments in AWS using Terraform
• Migrate VM-based GitLab based eco-system to k8s based possible to use in AWS
• Optimizing cloud infrastructure for performance and cost efficiency
• Upgrade the Eclipse platform for DWS and the session server
• Enable Java 21 for session server
• Support migration away from JMS-request
• Introduce JWT based authentication in PWS
• Construct web based launcher page for PWS

Ideal candidate profile:

• Min. 5 years of experience in large-scale cloud system architecture
• Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD
• Experience in SaaS architecture design and implementation
• Strong backend development skills (Java/Go/Python) and automation (Bash, Terraform)

Conditions:

Location: Sweden (Göteborg) 

Work model: hybrid (1-2 days / week in the office in Göteborg is required)

Salary: 750 - 1000 SEK / h
