Senior Oracle DBA

We are looking for an experienced Senior Oracle DBA to join a project for a global technology company delivering SaaS-based Treasury and Liquidity Management solutions. The company supports some of the world’s largest enterprises by providing tools for cash management, risk control, and financial system integration.

Key responsibilities:

• Administration and maintenance of Oracle databases (Postgres experience is a plus)

• Supporting Java applications in their integration with databases

• Execution plan analysis and SQL query performance tuning

• Designing and managing database sharding/partitioning

• Backup and recovery using RMAN and/or pgdump

• Collaborating with developers and architects to optimize application performance

Ideal candidate profile:

• 12 years of experience as a DBA (Oracle, with Postgres as a strong plus)

• Solid understanding of core DBA concepts: administration, optimization, security\

• Strong knowledge of how Java applications connect to databases and how Java frameworks (e.g., JPA) manage persistence

• Experience as an Applicative DBA (query optimization, tuning, monitoring)

  Big advantage if you have:

• experience with Postgres,

• familiarity with JBoss/Wildfly, EclipseLink/TopLink.
