Senior Cloud Platform Engineer (Analytics & AI)

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer to join our client’s team in the life sciences sector.

This is a long-term opportunity in a global technology unit focused on modern Data, AI, and Analytics solutions. You will play a key role in developing and operating a cloud platform that powers machine learning, advanced analytics, and GenAI tools used across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the platform roadmap together with cloud architects and derive technical requirements for new capabilities across data, analytics, and AI services.
• Plan, design, and implement features and services on Azure Cloud and Databricks in line with non-functional requirements like security, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Provide training and documentation to internal users and stakeholders to support adoption of new features.
• Maintain and improve platform operations, including lifecycle management, incident handling, service requests, and automation.
• Monitor platform compliance and drive improvements using data-driven and AI-based methods.
• Collaborate with cloud, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure alignment with best practices and internal standards.

Ideal candidate profile

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Azure Cloud development, with a strong understanding of IaC (Terraform, Bicep, ARM).
• Solid knowledge of Data & AI stack: Databricks, Azure ML, Azure Data Factory.
• Strong grasp of Azure networking and authentication (e.g., Private Link, Azure Firewall, VPC setup, Entra ID).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions), infrastructure-as-code, and automation best practices.
• Familiarity with data modeling, warehousing, and cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake).
• Strong communication, documentation, and consulting skills.
• Fluent in English.

• Hybrid work model – 1 day per week in the Warsaw office
• Salary: negotiable, based on individual qualifications
