Full Stack Developer

Want to build and evolve real products, not just features? At KUBO, we’re looking for a Fullstack Developer to support the continuous development of an established digital TV platform. You'll join a Polish team that owns a mature product used daily by thousands of users — actively developed, improved, and maintained.

This is a long-term role focused on both backend and frontend development, with involvement across the full software lifecycle: from gathering requirements to delivery, deployment, and ongoing support.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain features on both backend and frontend

• Collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to gather requirements

• Perform code reviews and support team development

• Take part in deployment processes (including optional night releases every second Wednesday)

• Write and maintain documentation in Confluence

Ideal candidate profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience with Java (versions 8, 11, or 17)

• Strong skills in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL

• Good communication skills — able to work with both dev teams and non-technical departments

• Solid knowledge of: Spring (1.5+), MyBatis 3, React, AngularJS (or willingness to learn), Angular, Kafka, Maven, Git/Bitbucket, Docker

Nice to have:

• Experience or interest in: AWS, Mule ESB 3.9, Liquibase, Jenkins, Elasticsearch/Logstash, MongoDB

• Understanding of high-availability application design

Conditions

• Work hours:

  • Mon–Thu: 8.5 hours

  • Fri: 6 hours

  • Optional: night deployments every second Wednesday at 22:00

• Remote setup: 100% remote possible; ideally, some occasional team meetups onsite

• Contract type: B2B

• Trial period: 3 months

• Collaboration goal: Long-term engagement
