Data Scientist
Our client needs the support of an experienced Data Scientist to develop IT Service Management–driven Machine Learning models, including advanced Deep Learning and Neural Networks. The role focuses on improving IT stability and automating IT Operations reporting by applying predictive and prescriptive analytics across key ITSM processes.
Key responsibilities
Increase IT stability by identifying, quantifying, and mitigating IT issues and risks using advanced analytics and Machine Learning
Build models and solutions that help prevent or reduce risks and provide input into Continual Service Improvement plans
Automate IT Operations reporting, including suppliers’ performance, using GenAI‑based self‑reporting solutions
Implement automated root cause identification for instability in business‑critical IT systems
Use Neural Networks to set optimal values of ML factors to minimise MTRS and the probability of recurring incidents or changes causing incidents
Design and implement Generative AI models for fully automated, customised self‑reporting solutions
Develop and maintain analytical solutions in Power BI Service and Microsoft Fabric
Work with hypotheses to prove or reject business statements and perform hypothesis testing
Design and maintain statistical models based on ITSM data
Build advanced reports and dashboards to support decision‑making
Analyse, process, and model data and translate results into actionable insights
Ensure complete collection and high quality of data in line with best data practices
Collaborate with stakeholders to co‑create new ideas and co‑build the future Insights Data Analytics service
Work as part of a SAFe Scrum team with aligned autonomy across Incident, Problem, Change, Service Improvement, and Supplier Performance Management areas
Ideal candidate profile
Expert knowledge in statistics, Python, T‑SQL, Power Query, DAX, MS Power BI / MS Power Platform, and Git
Strong professional experience in T‑SQL and DAX
Professional experience using Python for Machine Learning and data wrangling
Experience with at least one Business Intelligence tool (preferably MS Power BI)
Deep knowledge of statistical techniques for descriptive and predictive analytics
Experience in data mining and extracting usable insights from large data sources
Experience using ML tools to select features and create/optimise classifiers
Excellent presentation skills
ITIL Foundation certification or proven experience in IT Service Management
Lean‑Agile training or certification (Scrum or SAFe)
Academic degree in Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or a similar field
At least 2–3 years of experience in a similar role
Fluency in English

B2B contract with an hourly rate of 130 - 150 PLN net
