Product Owner (Analytics-Focused)
Our client is seeking an analytics-focused Product Owner (PO) - Remote
The Product Owner will support an AI-driven consumer insights platform used by global brands such as Coca-Cola, Unilever, and Bayer.
This role sits at the intersection of data analytics and product strategy. You will collaborate with engineering, design, and client success teams to translate complex data into clear product requirements, maintain and refine the product backlog, and champion the user voice through customer feedback and usage data analysis.
What you’ll do:
• Extract and deliver actionable insights from massive unstructured datasets such as social media conversations, online reviews, video content, hashtags, and consumer sentiment data.
• Build and maintain analytics dashboard-based products that drive client business decisions.
• Translate data-driven insights into clear product requirements and maintain a prioritized backlog.
• Track and report on KPIs, including engagement metrics and customer feedback.
• Synthesize insights for stakeholders and inform product roadmap decisions.
You’re a strong fit if you have:
• Required: 3-7+ years of Product Owner or Product Manager experience.
• Required: Understanding data, analytic and visualization best practices (charts, dashboards, reports, and data extracts).
• Required: Proven analytics capability and/or experience working with unstructured data (such as social posts, search, and reviews).
• Required: Hands-on expertise with dashboard platforms (Power BI, Apache Superset, Amplitude, Tableau, Looker, GA4, or similar). NOTE: This position requires significant time working directly with data and dashboards – from understanding how raw data goes through Data Science / LLM pipeline and turns into client insights to troubleshooting potential data issues and building scalable solutions across 5+ products, dozens of data sets, and 100’s of client deliverables.
• Required: Demonstrated ability to deliver results in ambiguous, fast-moving environments, with limited guidance and support. A successful candidate will jump right in and figure out what needs doing.
• Required: Ability to work in a high-pressure environment, with many conflicting priorities, tight deadlines, and scarce resources. Candidate needs to deeply understand and be able to explain trade-offs between value and cost.
