About Project
We are building new fintech that is currently in a stealth mode. This is a greenfield project and we will have first commits in September ;-)
We are a small team of senior specialists and engineers with a proven track record in fintech ( financial services innovation ). We have a bold idea for a completely new financial service for the market. We are building a digital banking mobile app that will be armed with a game changing experience and toolset.
You have a unique opportunity to join at very beginning of our project.
About The Role
You will work directly with the CTO and other team members in an agile manner. Your role will be to take responsibility for implementing core elements of UI and delivering smooth implementation of UX. There will be various integrations with third parties. You will have an impact on the architecture and design of our codebase.
Approach
We are using a modern tech stack having a fully virtualised environment and following the principle of infrastructure by code. We are fans of fully automated CI/CD with transparent rules for unit testing and code style. We are also happy to explore serverless where needed and open for new tools.

About The Role

What your day will involve:
- Working in Cross Functional Team in close collaboration with CTO, Product Owner, UI/UX designer and FE Developers
- Working alongside CTO to deliver robust application architecture and well refined code
- Delivering clean, architecturally sound and maintainable server-side code; bonus points for full-stack development experience
- Collaborating with stakeholders in the company to rapidly build-measure-learn a world-class product
- Motivating the team past roadblocks to make sure we are shipping features as effectively as possible
- Guiding design discussions; being the voice of experience with helping the team balance flexibility, expediency and scalability & performance
- Championing new technologies and enforcing the best development patterns
Keeping a keen eye on the future, whilst making sure we’re proactively but pragmatically tackling technical debt
Must have:
- Four or more years of experience building solutions in modern backend frameworks
- Very strong knowledge of React Native for rich UI for Android and iOS
- Good Understanding and ability to apply Design Patterns as well best practices
- Experience in designing REST API’s ( GraphQL would be advantage )
- Passion for beautiful code and SOLID principles
- Experience in:
- building resilient applications
- designing services and/or microservices
- working with Docker
- Excellence in Git ( and GitHub, Bitbucket or GitLab )
- Passion for Chatops ;-)
- Strong and communicative English
- Open mind

Good to have:
- Experience in Fintech, Payments or Investment solutions
- Working with diverse and international team
- Knowledge of frontend technologies like react
- Experience with serverless architecture
