Are you interested in all the technical application areas in SAP? Have you worked with them for more than 4 years in various constellations and combinations as an SAP Architect or Applications consultant? KMD has for several years been one of the great players when it comes to developing, maintaining, and operating SAP systems. In KMD, we have about 400 competent SAP colleagues with many years of experience within SAP solutions for public and private customers. We continuously focus on knowledge sharing, building competencies, and being at the forefront of the development within SAP.
The SAP Strategy & Innovation department in the SAP Division is looking for a Technical Application Architect. The Application Architect shall help us maintain and expand our great strength and depth in the SAP area. As one of Denmark's largest SAP houses, we constantly make a significant impression on the entire SAP ecosystem through publications, SAP mentors, conference posts, as well as organizer and speaker on SAP Inside Track in several places in Europe.
As an SAP Technical Application Architect, you become part of KMD's SAP Division, which provides SAP architecture and solutions across KMD's Business Units. You will be part of our SAP Strategy & Innovation department with colleagues working with all areas within SAP and setting out the strategy for the architecture and innovation of KMD's SAP solutions and projects. You will as a start be working as SAP Lead Architect on one of our large SAP ERP solutions for the public sector. The work takes place in project teams, where project managers, business specialists, architects, consultants, and developers work closely together to solve customer challenges.
After your morning coffee you will:
- Work as part of a team on customer-driven architecture and development tasks.
- Clarify business requirements and establish architecture together with customers and business specialists.
- Be responsible for the technical content in the product/project and for the technical aspects of risk profile and for providing input regarding this to the Project Management.
- Ensure adherence to SAP and KMD best practices in the technical solution.
- Provide input to all functional areas and help review/create deliverables (incl. designs) with regards to impact on architecture, timeliness, quality, and cost.
- Architecture and governance around Data Life Cycle Management and Archiving Strategy
- Work on changes related to Infrastructure
- Work on architecture and governance around security, roles & authorizations
We want you in our team if :
- You have deep and cross-cutting knowledge about SAP’s entire technology platform.
- You have worked with the most recent technology and application within SAP ERP and SAP S/4HANA, including how SAP applications can be expanded appropriately with modern SAP add-on technologies and can follow concepts such as Keep-the-Core-Clean and Security-by-design.
- You have experience with SAP methods and tools.
- You like to be in the field between business and technology, where you assume the leadership of the completion of tasks. You understand the customer's business, and on that foundation, you can propose new technological initiatives that support the customer's business needs.
- You have more than 4 years of experience with SAP architecture and probably a long-term IT education as a Computer Scientist, Civil Engineer in IT, or similar.
- You have experience with:
§ SAP NetWeaver Platform
§ SAP HANA and S/4HANA
§ Integration with PO and/or SAP CPI
§ ABAP development including UX, Dynpro, Web Dynpro, HTML5, SAP-UI5, SAP Fiori and OO ABAP, oData, CDS, BOPF
- You are a team player who at the same time manages to take responsibility.
- You can take the initiative and make plans for the systems and architecture of the future.
- Are excellent in English both written and spoken
- You focused on standardization, automation, and efficiency, and you work structured and analytically in your approach to the tasks. It's important that you find it motivating to maintain an application so that customer operations are stable. It is important that you can navigate in a large and complex organization where your colleague can sit elsewhere in Denmark, Poland, or other locations.

- Methods, models, and tools such as SAP Activate, SAP Solution Manager, TOGAF, SAFe, ABAP test Cockpit and Automated Unit testing of ABAP
