Junior Infrastructure Engineer (DevOps Service)

KMD is looking for a Junior Infrastructure Engineer to join our DevOps Service team and drive DevOps transformation for our key clients in the finance, energy, and public sectors in Denmark. While at the beginning of your work you will have a release/deployment focus, this role is intended to develop you towards automation.
Our team consists of around 15 people (PL and DK) organized into smaller sub-teams and handling a wide range of work around CI/CD, Infrastructure as a code, configuration management, application deployment management, testing automation, and release automation.
We are working with both Azure and on-premises setups, Azure DevOps, ARM templates, PowerShell DSC (Desired State Configuration), Chocolatey, and various other related technologies. We believe in a continuous learning approach and test new technologies as they appear in order to make sure we have the most optimal toolchain.
After your morning coffee you will be:
- Driving releases in complex application setup (.NET, SQL Server, Oracle DB, Neuron ESB, Stonebranch, Oracle E-Business Suite, and others) on both Azure and on-premises
- Enhancing DevOps set up and looking for improvements
- Packaging application code with Chocolatey
- Maintaining and monitoring DevOps infrastructure
- Configuring Azure and on-premises infrastructure with PowerShell DSC
- Implementing CI/CD with Azure DevOps (Pipelines, Repos)
We want you in our team if you:
- Have 1+ years of experience in Sys Admin or DevOps role
- Have been working with Azure or another cloud provider
- Has experience with Windows Server administration
- Have been working with Azure DevOps or a similar solution
- Have experience with PowerShell and ARM templates
- Are experienced in automation, CI/CD, and software version control (Git)
- Are excellent in English both written and spoken
