To ensure the high quality of our solutions, we are looking for an Actuarial Analyst responsible for mathematical calculations validation.
As an Actuarial Analyst in Edlund A/S – a leading Scandinavian provider of specialized IT solutions for the administration of life, pension, unit link, and insurance portfolios, you will work closely with business architects and developers in one of our agile development projects.
After your morning coffee, you will be
- Working closely with business architects and developers in one of our agile development projects
- Validation of mathematical calculations used in functionalities that are created to support life and the pension business processes
- Designing and specifying test cases based on requirements and solution descriptions
- Running tests, report deviations from desired outcomes, and support the customer in the final User Acceptance Test
We want you in our team if you:
- Master's degree (or higher) in any of the following areas: mathematics, probability, statistics, or physics
- Advanced in software for financial modeling, statistical analysis, and spreadsheet calculations
- Analytically minded with excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong English both in speaking and writing
We are a perfect match if you additionally:
- Experience in insurance or pension systems
- Software development experience, especially in statutory reporting, actuarial reserves, claim/policy value calculations
- Passage of one or more actuarial exam
- Experience in Agile/SCRUM/KANBAN projects
- Experience from working in distributed teams across countries
