As a Frontend Engineering Team Lead, you will take ownership of the technical and personal development of a team of frontend developers. Your work will directly impact the functionality and user experience of the platform’s product catalog and customer-facing features. You’ll closely collaborate with backend engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
Responsibilities
- Guide and support a team of frontend engineers, encouraging best practices and continuous learning.
- Drive frontend architecture decisions, code quality, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate product requirements into effective technical solutions.
- Advocate for performance optimization and robust testing strategies.
- Participate in hiring and shaping the team’s growth.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team culture.
Technology Environment
- Extensive use of React.js, including Hooks and Context API.
- Strong experience with TypeScript, modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3 (with preprocessors like SASS or LESS).
- State management with tools like Redux or MobX.
- API integrations via REST and GraphQL.
- Testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, and Enzyme.
- Containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Cloud services primarily based on AWS, including message queues and NoSQL databases.
- Agile methodology (Scrum/Kanban) in daily work.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 5 years of frontend development experience with React.
- At least 2 years in a leadership or mentorship role.
- Solid knowledge of frontend architecture, state management, and performance tuning.
- Experience with API-driven development and modern testing practices.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, agile teams with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong communicator able to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Passion for mentoring and growing a team.
- Bonus: hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure.
