Senior Mendix Developer

As a Senior Mendix Developer, you will play a key role in delivering end-to-end Mendix applications. You will contribute across all phases of the development lifecycle — from defining the business problem and proposing solutions, to development, deployment, and mentoring. You’ll also be involved in consulting activities such as proposal development, client training, and process definition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Mendix applications following Agile methodologies
• Design and implement scalable, performant, and secure solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UI/UX, product owners, QA, and DevOps
• Lead technical discussions and guide junior developers
• Translate business needs into technical requirements and solutions
• Integrate Mendix apps with APIs and backend systems
• Optimize application performance and resolve technical issues
• Contribute to internal capability building and support proposal development
• Assist with defining scope, timelines, and resource planning
• Stay updated on new Mendix features and best practices

Required Skills & Experience:

• 8+ years of overall software development experience
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Mendix
• Strong understanding of Mendix architecture, microflows, nanoflows, and domain modeling
• 3+ years of experience in mobile app development using LC/HC or native (iOS/Android)
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases
• Good understanding of JavaScript, REST APIs, and web technologies
• Ability to write and maintain test cases (Jest, Jasmine, or Karma preferred)
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Fluent English communication (written and spoken) for international collaboration
